Xiaowu Gao

Gao Xiaowu born in 1976 in Sanming, Fujian, China. Graduated in 1999 from the Department of Sculpture at Xiamen Academy of Arts and Crafts. Completed advanced studies in 2004 at the Sculpture Department of Central Academy of Fine Arts. In 2021, obtained a Master’s degree in Film Business from University of Barcelona and ESCAC Film School. Currently lives and works in Beijing. He currently serves as Director of the Contemporary Sculpture Research Center at the Academy of Arts and Crafts, Fuzhou University; Executive Council Member of the China Copyright Association; and Committee Member of the Culture and Peace Committee of the Chahar Institute.
