Victoria Legat
Victoria Legat, born in Graz in 2008, was accepted at the Graz Opera’s children choir Singschul‘ by Ms Andrea Fournier at the age of 7.
At the age of 11, she was accepted into Prof. Natela Nicoli’s singing class at the Graz Conservatory. From 2021 to 2023, she was taught by Prof. Hermine Haselböck-Littasy, and then from 2023 she was in the class of Nasrin Rossman, Bakk.art.MA. Since 2025, she has been singing with Shirin Albler, BA MA.
In addition to singing, Victoria has also been playing the piano at the Conservatory since she was 8 years old.
Victoria has already won numerous first prizes in the Prima la musica competitions in 2018, 2020 and 2022, and in 2022 she also won first prize in the national competition in Feldkirch. Victoria also won first prize and a special prize as the youngest participant at the 2021 IMMCC international competition in Maribor. In 2024, she once again won first prize at Prima la musica in Styria and second prize at the national competition in Brixen.
Victoria has already participated in many master classes, including with Prof. Natela Nicoli, President of the Accademia Belcanto, Prof. Edita Garcevic, Professor at the Conservatory in Ljubljana, Clemens Anton Klug, Artists Agent, Univ. Prof. Dr. Barbara Zubanovic-Baranowska and ao. Univ. Prof. Martin Vácha, Bakk.art. MA MA PhD.
Victoria has sung in various operas in Graz as part of the children’s choir and made her debut as a soloist in ‘Mario and the Magician’ in 2019. According to the press, she “shone” as the broom maker’s daughter in the opera ‘Königskinder’. In 2021 and 2022, she appeared in the musical ‘Anatevka’ in the soloist role of Sprintze. In 2023, she was given the lead role in the children’s opera ‘Cinderella’ at Next Liberty. In 2024, Victoria gave a singing concert with her brother in Hart bei Graz and in 2025 in Graz at the Heimatsaal, receiving a standing ovation from enthusiastic audiences.
Victoria loves the stage and the audience and is very much looking forward to today’s performance.
