Nopanan Balisee
Nopanan Balisee, a native of the lowlands along the Mun River in Nakhon Ratchasima, Thailand, holds a Master’s degree in Ceramic Arts from the Faculty of Decorative Arts, Silpakorn University, and a Doctorate in Fine Arts Management from the Faculty of Fine Arts, Bangkok thonburi University. He is an artist, designer, and educator whose work stands out for its innovative ceramic techniques, encompassing both sculptural forms and functional products. Nopanan is also skilled in building kilns for firing ceramics. His passion lies in creating works using natural materials, particularly local woods. His creations often reflect the essence of rural life and organic forms, blending natural aesthetics with thoughtful craftsmanship and technical expertise. Nopanan has received numerous art scholarships, including support from universities and foundations dedicated to fostering the arts. His accolades include the Honorable Mention the 12th White Elephant Art award by Thai Beverage public company limited, participation in various national art competitions, and involvement in national and international workshops and exhibitions. His dedication to the arts continues to inspire and flourish to this day.
