Yang Mengru
Ms. Yang Mengru is Vice Chairperson of the Hong Kong Women Writers’ Association, a member of the Hong Kong Writers Union, and a member of the Hong Kong Artists Association. Writing under the pen names Mengru and Impression, she is the author of multiple published works. Her writings have been translated into several languages, and her handwritten correspondence manuscripts are held in the collection of the National Museum of Taiwan Literature, as well as included in various literary histories, poetry anthologies, and educational textbooks from
primary school to university level.
In 2022, she received the Outstanding Cross-Disciplinary Arts Contribution Award from the Hong Kong Cultural Development Research Association.
In 2024, she was selected by ArtNet China as a Representative Figure of Contemporary Chinese Art.
