Education and Early Career
- Professional Training: Trained as a master cabinetmaker (Kunsttischler), artistic screen printer, and painter.
- Artistic Education (1968–1972): Attended the Vienna Art School (Wiener Kunstschule) and the artistic adult education center (Künstlerische Volkshochschule) under professors such as Gerda Matejka-Felden, Reo Martin Pedrazza, and Gotthard Fellerer.
- Early Work (1970–1974):Worked for the renowned enamel jewelry company Frey Wille (then Michaela Frey) in Vienna.
