Jiaxin Chen

Chen Jiaxin is a Young Erhu Performer and graduated from the China Conservatory of Music with master degree. She is the Director of the China Committee of the European Musicians Association and a Member of the National String Music Society of the Chinese Musicians Association. She has won many awards, including the Gold Medal at the Canada China International Instrumental Music Performance Competition and the Silver Medal at the National Erhu Competition “Dunhuang Cup”. She once served as the Principal Erhu Player of the university orchestra, has performed at venues such as the National Centre for the Performing Arts and the Great Hall of the People, held multiple solo concerts, and premiered original works such as “Howling North Wind” (Erhu and String Quartet).
