Osorio Faber’s practice is grounded in academic training in studio arts and enriched by years of community engagement. Influenced by his studies with Pat Passlof in New York City, his work balances structure and spontaneity, action and contemplation. Vibrant colour, dynamic form, and material presence allow him to navigate the tensions between inner and outer worlds, instinct and reason.
Born on 26 December 1983 in the United States, he has lived between Colombia and the U.S. for much of his life and is now based in Austria, where he continues to expand his artistic vision. Questions of origin, identity, and cultural belonging are central to his work. Shaped by diverse cultural landscapes—both natural and urban—his art seeks meaning through transformation, offering pathways toward self-discovery, redemption, and a sense of wholeness.
