AnaMaria Heigl

AnaMaria Heigl work stretches over numerous art genres, ranging from sculpture through performance and video projects to photography. Many ofher works speak of such everyday things that are “poles of reflection”, coming in-between but equally bringing together people.

Biography
Born in Großarl / Salzburg. Upon completing her studies at the Vienna University of Applied Arts, AnaMaria Heigl founded together with Christian Jauernik anaplus, a project-based workshop focusing on sculpture, casts, special costumes, puppets, masks as well as sculptures of animals. She is also an active performance and installation artist and develops various video puppetry projects. As of 2006 she works intensively with photography. AnaMaria Heigl lives and works in Vienna.
