Rudolf Schar

My creative journey began with drawing in my teenage years.
Over time, and influenced by family and professional circumstances, my artistic focus envolved toward photography.

Since 2006, thanks to my daughters, I have found my way back to painting.
Working across a diverse range of techniques, with a particular affinity for watercolour and acrylic paint, while remaining open to all methods.

My artistic sensibility is shaped by an appreciation for beauty, uniqueness, and the naturalistic representation of nature and human condition.

I have studied with various international artists, participated in masterclasses at Kunstfabrik Wien between 2018 and 2021, and have presented works in both, solo and group exhibitions, nationally and internationally.

I have sold my work to Germany, Great Britain, Switzerland, Ukraine, Italy, and the USA.
I am a member of the Lower Austrian Cultural Network and a member of the Professional Association of Visual Artists.

The world is rich with colour, waiting for eyes willing to see
