Milica Jovanovic

I was born in the city of Nis in Serbia, where I graduated from art school. I
took part in fashion show weeks twice in Nis, where my fashion creations
were presented. Some of my works were also exhibited at Club Paspartu.
At that time, this club was part of the night museums.

I mainly use oil and acrylic in my works (canvas paintings). Various techniques
are used for the drawings.

I am mostly inspired by the chaos of emotions that have no
definitions or boundaries. We lose ourselves in other people, places,
dreams, and times. In a way, my art reflects the search for the soul, the obsession
with time. The clock is ticking!

I have been living in Vienna since 2013. Here I have had five solo and several

group exhibitions at Kunstraum Wien Mitte. In addition, some works
(drawings and paintings) about art have been on permanent display at the
Wien Mitte Justice Center for several years.
